LOCATION: Bayronto

CATCH: Vermillion snapper (7), yellowtail snapper (2), greater amberjack, bonito

STORY: We anchored up current of the wreck Bayronto and chummed on the surface. We were catching snapper when a 25lb greater amberjack took a piece of squid on a 2-0 circle hook. The bonito was caught trolling back home. It wil make good bait.

LOCATION: Bayronto

CATCH: Vermillion snapper (12), yellowtail snapper (2), red grouper (4)

STORY: We anchored up current of the wreck Bayronto and chummed on the surface. The prize catch was a 22" yellow tail snapper! After catching snapper at the Bayronto we hit some numbers a few miles away and drifted for the grouper.

LOCATION: 40mi off Englewood, FL in 110' of water

CATCH: red grouper (15), vermillion snapper, dolphin

STORY: The red grouper bite was strong all day. The area was north of the bayronto wreck. The bait was bonito strips, squid and live pin fish. Heading back we came across some decent weed lines. Pitching baits produced nothing. When we trolled rattlejet lures the dolphin started hitting. They were probably deep in the hot (86 deg) water. They were small so we made a note to return in a few weeks. All the action was in 90-110' depths.

CATCH: red grouper (3)

STORY: We drifted for grouper in the same spots as above. The action was slow because it was near full moon time.
